Camp Smalltalk at OOPSLA will be held in the "courtyard". We'll have tables, chairs, and power strips. There will be free wireless all through the courtyard and perhaps a little beyond, courtesy of Sun. I have been told officially that we can't bring projectors, but I'm going to bring mine anyway and we will see how reality differs from stated policy. But last year almost nobody used my projector.

This is THE killer app for Smalltalk. It has convinced me to switch my OOP&D course to Squeak. I imagine that Croquet will be the highlight of Alan Kay's Turing award lecture next week. It is the culmination of the last 30 year's of Kay's work.
